Yay USA

 I made my favorite for the 4th. Caramel Corn!! Since we ate it so fast I only have the picture of the bowl. But here is the awesome and easy recipe.

Caramel Corn
1. Put about 10 cups of plain popcorn in to a large paper grocery bag and set aside.
2. In 1 microwave safe bowl put the following
1 cube butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup Karo syrup
1/2 tsp salt
Cook in microwave until mixed (about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes). Then microwave for 3 full minutes without stopping.
3. Take out of microwave.
Mix in 1/2 tsp backing soda
(Should look foamy)
4. Dump caramel into popcorn and shake.
Microwave bag of popcorn mixture for 3 minutes. Pull bag out and shake every 30 seconds.
5. Pour onto table and spread to let cool.
